About Us
Joby Motors is producing lightweight, ultra-efficient motors for use in electric aircraft. These brushless permanent magnet motors attain high torque at low speeds, while retaining a high power density.
The design team is currently building 5-10 kW motors for small aircraft while simultaneously building 20-30 kW motors for future vehicles. In addition, Joby Motors is developing customized, highly reliable and robust motor controllers.
